Our Story

Cheerleading Techniques Academy was founded in July 2022 by Victoria “Tori” Vernier, a passionate and experienced coach with over a decade of cheerleading experience. Tori’s cheer career spans middle school, high school, multiple all-star programs, and college-level cheerleading. For Tori, cheerleading was more than just a sport—it was a powerful outlet that helped her grow both mentally and physically, and she’s made it her mission to offer that same experience to every athlete who walks through the door.

Tori opened Cheerleading Techniques with Tori as the first-ever cheerleading facility in Louisville, Ohio, with the vision of not just developing great athletes, but helping young individuals grow in confidence, character, and resilience. Whether athletes are training for school cheer, all-star competition, or simply for fun, CTA is a place where every individual is supported and pushed to reach their full potential.

Our Growth

Since its opening, the gym has seen incredible growth. By January 2025, we will proudly serve over 100 athletes each week, working with individuals, small groups, school teams, youth programs, gymnasts, dancers, and more.

As our mission expanded, so did our brand—and we officially became Cheerleading Techniques Academy, LLC.

Tori also founded the Louisville Youth Competition Cheer Program, a community-focused initiative that gives young athletes a chance to experience competitive cheerleading in a supportive and exciting environment. In 2025, we’re thrilled to launch our brand new teams, the Junior and Senior Elite Leopards, continuing our tradition of excellence and opportunity.

Our Mission

At CTA, our goal is simple: to keep growing and giving back to the cheer community. Our dream for the near future is to move into a larger, dedicated facility complete with a full-size spring floor and dead mat, giving our athletes the space and tools they need to succeed.

Fun Facts

  • We currently work with over 200 athletes per week, from all over the area and many different school districts.

  • We are Louisville, Ohio’s first-ever cheerleading facility.

  • All of our coaches provide one-on-one lessons.

  • We have three youth competition teams and two recreational competition teams - you do not have to attend Louisville City Schools.

Our Goal

Our goal is to continue to grow and help athletes from in and outside the Louisville Community. We want to eventually open our own facility and continue to grow our competition teams as well.
